Paul Celan Translated - A Centenary Celebration

Saturday, June 26, 2021 - 13:15

This Warburg Institute talk took place on Zoom on 23 November 2020 With Edmund de Waal, Idris Khan, Karen Leeder and Bill Sherman. An evening of conversation, poetry and film marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Paul Celan. Access it here or in the media section of this website

It looks at translations of Celan in the literal sense but also the way his ideas and words have been translated across media. Really eye-opening!
